Shipping is on us within Australia. As soon as you place your order, we will make, pack and post your purchase to you as fast as we can. Normally we quote a 3 day turnaround, but during peak times this increases to 5 days. Please contact us if you need it sooner, we will do our absolute best to get your band made in time. Alternatively upgrade to Express, this is normally a 1-2 day turnaround 

Express or Overseas charges are listed at checkout. Send us a message through the Contact page if you have any further queries. Express Orders are given priority.

We post though Australia Post. We have found this to be the most effective delivery service to date. If you have any issues with your delivery, please contact Australia Post and have your tracking number ready (we will supply your tracking number as soon as your purchase is packed).

If posting back to us for any reason, customers assume all shipping related costs. 

Providing an incorrect address at time of purchase, customer needs to cover Express Post charge to allow us to resend item.

 

Refund/Exchange

We hand make each one of our Queenies/Duchies specific to the buyer's order. It is worn in the hair (hygiene) and we are a small business, so all sales are final.

That said, if you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact us and we will do our best to rectify the issue.

 

30 Day Warranty

If your product is damaged upon arrival, please contact us immediately with information and we will assess it for replacement.

If she breaks within 30 days after your purchase date, let us know so we can send a replacement. Sorry, we can only cover the product for it's intended purpose  - please follow instructions and don't overheat.

 

Out of Stock

There is a small chance your Queenie was sold whilst you were processing your order. We will notify you immediately if your item is not in stock so you can decide on choosing another colour, accepting a waiting period if fabric is on order or a refund of monies paid.

 

Hair Types

We recommend checking out our 'Curls and Waves' Highlights on our Instagram account. This helps with seeing the results of some of our customers who have used Queenie/Duchie and the various hair types and lengths.

For super thick hair we recommend considering purchasing two Queenies to use in combination. For our long haired sisters, we recommend the Duchie.

Thin Hair, the Queenie/Duchie is a great option as it's low heat and won't burn the bejesus out of your hair. We do however, recommend talking to your hairdresser or a hair product retailer for recommended products. Thin hair needs help with hold and adding enough 'grit' to hold the style.

Like all new things, it takes 3-5 goes to really understand your Queenie/Duchie. In this time, you are getting the hang of binding your hair, what's the best timeframe in the microwave and what products help with styling.

We can not guarantee results, but we can show examples of our product in use and what results our customers have gained. Hair health, hormone levels, even climate (ie. humidity levels) can effect the results of your curls. Feel free to ask our community about their results to give you piece of mind.

Product recommendations to use alongside your band are just recommendations. They are gained from our own personal use or from suggestions from our community.
